Beatrice is now open for bookings, from Monday 8th April. Remember our boat can be booked by schools for children with additional needs free of charge at any time. But other groups and families and friends can also book a trip at weekends or weekdays during the school holidays. Beatrice can accommodate up to 12 guests in total, including up to three in wheelchairs within that total. The boat has a small galley, with hot and cold running water, a fridge and kettle, and microwave on request. There is an accessible toilet, level access to a secure front deck from the towpath, and a lift to help less able guests down into the cabin. We ask for a donation of £130 for non-school bookings, to help towards our running costs. Included in that are the services of two or three volunteers to manage the boat, a qualified Skipper and a trained Crew. Beatrice is not available for self-drive hire but guests are able to assist our crew if they wish. For more information on booking Beatrice click here.
