VIP Visit

We were delighted to have a visit from the Chairman of the Staffordshire Moorlands District, Councillor Lyn Swindlehurst. Councillor Swindlehurst came to our mooring on the Caldon Canal to see off a party of students from the Meadows School in Leek. After having a look round on board she posed with the students on what turned out to be a very wet day!

The message from the school afterward was "a special thankyou to the crew who must have got soaked through with the heavy rain and storms".
