Beatrice and a party from the Meadows School, Leek were waved off by the Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire, Ian Dudson, CBE KStJ, and the head of Meadows, Joan Wright. Meadows has been a partner school of the Beatrice Charity for many years and played a major role when Mr Dudson presented us with the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2019. The children were delighted to see Mr Dudson and, for our volunteers, his presence was a moving gesture of support for what we do.
